Suzanne "Suzie" Booker (Sewell) died in hospice on April 13, 2018 in Fort Worth, TX due to pancreatic cancer. She was 67. Services will take place on April 17, 2018, at 10:30 am at Biggers Funeral Home. Mrs. Booker will be buried in a ceremony on April 18, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at Forestwood Cemetery at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Booker's life. Flowers may be sent to Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76135. Mrs. Booker was born on May 14, 1950 in Dallas, TX to her parents, James and Ruth Sewell. She went to Mountain View College. She married William "Bill" Booker in 1969. The Bookers lived in Duncanville, Texas, and later moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Bill worked as the store manager of JCPenney's at Ridgmar Mall and Suzie stayed home caring for their two daughters. They attended Ridglea West Baptist Church and Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX. Mrs. Booker was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She also worked in various retail positions. She spent a lot of time with family but also enjoyed singing, sewing, cake decorating, and creating arts and crafts. Mrs. Booker is survived by her husband, Bill Booker, daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jonathan Jackson of Keller, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Brad Montgomery of Rocklin, CA and six grandchildren: Madison Jackson, Caroline Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Jack Montgomery, Wade Montgomery, and William Montgomery, and her sister, Diane Lawrence, and her sister-in-law Bebe Key.
