It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Sylvia Lansdell Williams, who departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 88.

Celebration of Sylvia's Life: 10: a.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76135.

Interment: following Celebration of Life, Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, Biggers Funeral Home.

Sylvia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Born September 8, 1937, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sylvia grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished her unwavering support.

Sylvia had a career for over 3 decades in customer service as a Credit Manager.

Sylvia was passionate about serving our veterans; she offered countless hours of her time volunteering at the VA Clinic. Sylvia was a proud and devoted member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for much of her life, she devoted countless hours of her time supporting veterans and their families, organizing community events, and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and service. Her unwavering commitment to the Auxiliary reflected her deep respect for those who served and her belief in giving back to her "community" in which she served until the last week of her life.

Sylvia had been elected and served as VFW Auxiliary President for multiple posts within the Fort Worth, Texas area. Additionally, Sylvia served as District 21 President from 1993 to 1994. She consistently placed the needs of others before her own. Sylvia was known for her unwavering advocacy and bold leadership.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Teresa; and her sister, Patricia.

She is survived by her son, Bob and his wife, Jasmine; her daughter, Patricia and her husband, Sammy; her son-in-law, Jim; her two grandchildren, Christina and her husband, Cody, Kendall and his wife, Mariana; and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Cayla, and David.

Sylvia's legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Sylvia Lansdell Williams will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
