Tennis Everett Ingebretson, 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 1, 2021. Celebration of Life Service: 1:30 pm, September 20, 2021, at Eagle Mountain Church, Newark, Texas Committal: 11:15 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Tennis Everett Ingebretson was born in Cando, North Dakota on October 7, 1950. The family lived a short time in Devils Lake and Fargo, then moved with his parents, Grant and Helen Lyseng, to the family farm near Hitterdal, Minnesota. Tennis attended Hitterdal High School and graduated in 1968. He then joined the United Sates Navy and served for four years. During that time, he served two terms in Vietnam. Tennis returned home safely and worked at various places before starting his career in sales with Combined Insurance. He learned the closing skills to become a salesman and worked for various companies throughout his life. He won many awards as a Top Closer and Producer. He also worked in sales at Classic Roadsters in Fargo, North Dakota until 1991. Tennis had previously been married to his wife, Cheryl and they had three children. In 1989, he met Sue, his wife until his passing. They married in 1992 and moved to Redding, California. They stayed there ten years and then moved to Sacramento where they spent ten years. In 2012, Tennis and Sue moved to Phoenix, Arizona and spent six years. In 2018, they moved to Fort Worth, Texas and this was the place that felt most like home. Tennis worked in sales and continued to be successful in anything he put his hands on. He was positive, fun loving, caring, and always saw the best in any situation. Tennis is preceded in death by his Grandparents; father, Grant Lyseng; brother, Terrance Ingebretson and his sister, Cheryl Ingebretson. He is survived by his wife, Sue of Fort Worth; mother, Helen Lyseng of Barnesville, Minnesota; Brother, Tim Ingebretson and his wife, Joey of Spring; sister, Starlene Syverson and her husband, Allen of Twin Valley, Minnesota; sister, Jill Ladwig and her husband, Troy of Lake Park, Minnesota; two daughters, Stacy Guinn and Angie Olson; son, Sean Ingebretson; grandchildren, Hailey, Justin, Tanner, Alyvia, Easton and one great grandchild, Aiden. Tennis will be missed by everyone that knew him. He always brought a smile to anyone that he would meet.
