Theresa Dale Caraway, 68, passed away peacefully and was received into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Tarrant County.
Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, March 1 at Saginaw Park Baptist Church.
Interment: Dido Cemetery, Tarrant County, Texas
Visitation: Noon – 1:00 p.m. prior to the Service
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saginaw Park Baptist Church, 512 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX, 76131, or to the charity of your choice.
Theresa was born in Miami, FL. After her family relocated to Texas, she graduated from Harlingen High School and later completed her Bachelor's degree at Texas A&I University. She worked as an accountant for several different companies over the years but spent her last 20 years of work as a package tracker for FedEx until her retirement.
She believed strongly in people's right to vote and worked as a precinct judge for many elections. She loved nature and hiking, marveled at all the wonders of God's creation, and volunteered at the local Nature Center for several years. She enjoyed traveling, science fiction, mysteries and spending time with family and friends.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Owen Caraway, and her younger brother, Robert "Bobby" Caraway II.
She is survived by her loving mother, Lorene T.Y. Caraway; her aunt, Marian Dowdy; as well as many cousins, close friends and wonderful neighbors.
Theresa departed this life with the serenity of a soul secure in her Christian faith, knowing she will join her Savior in Paradise.
