Thomas Austin Hulsey Jr, 79, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4795 E. Highway 199, Springtown, 76082. He was born May 29, 1938 in Del Rio. He was a warrior who became a peacemaker as a policeman, fireman, and E.M.T. He was an SF soldier/intelligence officer, and then a scout master and mentor to troubled youth. He served as a lawman at Dallas County, Grapevine, and served in Josephine as "chief ", and finally at Watauga P.D. He loved America, his wife, Norma, and his great redeemer, Jesus Christ. He was artistic, had a quick wit, a charmer, and an electronics expert. Survivors: His wife, Norma, children, Tommy, Susan, Carolyn, and Morgan; many grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. His many talents and gifts made a difference, and he will be missed.
