Thomas W. Powell, 72, a faithful husband, daddy, grandpa and friend, passed to glory on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Country Church. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: Casa de Esparanza Childrens Home in Honduras, or 1000 Acts of Kindness Project at Lake Country Church. Mr. Powell retired from Frito-Lay with 29 years of service and was a faithful member of Lake Country Church for over 30 years. His family includes his wife of 45 years, Johnnie; mother, Juanita; children, Tami, Jimmy, Trina and Jennifer; brothers, Kenneth, Donald and H.H. Powell Jr.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
