Tim Phouvong Sichanthavong, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 surrounded by his family at Methodist Mansfield Hospital in Mansfield. Service: The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Biggers Funeral Home. Visitation:12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Biggers Funeral Home. Tim was born in Phonehong Na Po, Laos on June 8, 1942. He was a Captain in The Royal Lao Army. He sought freedom and a new life for he, and his family in the U.S. in 1975 when the Lao Socialist Regime gained power. He was skilled as a certified welder, metal machinist first class, and master electrician before retiring in 2003. Tim was married to Khamphou Kay Luangkhot on June 9, 1968. They were married for 51 years. Survivors: Tim is survived by his wife, Khamphou; his six children, son, Vicker Sichanthavong; son, Phoukham Sichanthavong and his wife, Thanva, and their children, Johnny, Hnumoun, and Kathy; daughter, Kale Seaver and husband, Mark, and their children, Sydney, Chelsea, and Gregory; daughter, Kesone Sayaphommy and husband, Saysana, and their daughter, Justine; son, Phouthong Sichanthavong, and his children, Noah and Kendall; daughter, Jane Poquiz and her husband, Ray, and their children, Parker and Paris.
