Timothy Lee Child Sr., 52, an IT specialist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Biggers Chapel. Interment will be in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Timothy was born February 15, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served 12 years in the United States Army and was married to Cindy Lou Goodreau on February 12, 1983, in Lake Worth. He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylord Child; his mother, Arlene Child; a sister, Tonya Meadows; and a brother, Theodore Child. Timothy is survived by his wife, Cindy Lou Child; son, Timothy Lee Child Jr. and life partner, Timothy Holecek; daughter, Missy Michelle Child and husband, Christopher S. Tackett; granddaughter, Emily Marie Tackett; siblings, Thomas Child, Tamera Carey, Tina Kelly, Tyler Child and Texas "Tony" Child.
