Timothy Neal Dow, age 73 of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, First Baptist Church of White Settlement, 7801 White Settlement Road, White Settlement, Texas 76108.

Timothy, known to everyone as Tim, was born to Worley Sherrill and Jeanette Foshee Dow August 29, 1950 in Sweetwater, Texas.

Tim grew up in Hurst, Texas where he graduated from L.D. Bell High School before enlisting in the Navy in January 1970. He married the love of his life, Colleen in June 1976, in Hillsboro, Oregon.

His military service spanned 22 years, taking him to eight duty stations throughout his enlistment ending at Naval Air Station Dallas, Mobile Inshore Underwater Warfare Unit 109 (MIUW) retiring in May 1992.

While serving on board Naval Air Station Dallas, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialized major in Management, from Northwood University. His degree would carry him to Lincoln Technical Institute in Arlington, Texas where he was the business manager for seven years. He spent the remainder of his working career at the United States Post Office where he retired after 18 years.

Tim's passion was 'The Farm' and later 'The Ranch' where he made a substantial impact on the lives of his children and grandchildren. He spent many hours teaching them the love of the outdoors. He loved spending time with them, hunting, fishing, telling stories around the campfire and just making memories.

Tim is survived by his wife Colleen; son, Phillip Dow, wife Crystal and their children Layla and Brooklyn; daughter, Emily Provost, husband Raun and their children Kaylin and Lucas; daughter, Sarah Roberts, husband John and their children Nathan, Clayton, Caleb, Aubrey, Gavin, and Zachary; sister, Annette Miranda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
