Tommy K. Simmons, 73, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Country Church. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home. Tommy was a wonderful man whose kindness has touched many and was deeply loved. He has left a legacy of honesty, integrity and great family values for many generations to come. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 51 years, Melba Simmons of Weatherford; daughters, Tammy Popperwell and husband, Dennis, of Fort Worth, Teresa Posten and husband, Jerald, of Azle and Tina Mayhall and husband, Dennis, of Weatherford; sister, Becky Hawley of Fort Worth; brother, Terry Simmons of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michelle Olson of Austin, Jeron Posten of Azle, Chris Mayhall of Austin, Jeremy Ripple of Fort Worth, Jake Reed of Weatherford, Jordan Ripple of Springtown, Tasha Rogers, Johnson Posten, and Madeline Posten of Azle, and Jaxon Mayhall of Weatherford; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members who loved him.
