Wanda Sue Knight Narmore of Lake Worth Tx. was born on Aug. 12, 1943 in Fort Worth Texas and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 19, 2024. She was 80 years young. Wanda was a seven-year cancer survivor and recent complications surrounding her previous treatments were a factor in her demise.

Wanda attended Lake Worth Schools and graduated a proud Bullfrog in 1961. She was a Cheerleader, Basketball Manager, in the FHA, FTA, Pep Squad and a member of the speech club. After high school she worked at General Dynamics and Montgomery Wards until she was hired by the US Postal Service where she retired after more than 20 years.

She and her husband, both Lake Worth School graduates, were very involved in planning numerous high school reunions for classmates and kept in touch with many of them. It was a joy to them as they both are proud Bullfrogs and enjoyed reminiscing with their classmates at these gatherings. Wanda had quite a knack for finding classmates scattered across the US and never gave up looking until she achieved success.

She had a green thumb and kept her husband busy building numerous flower beds for her many many day lilies and irises that she raised, nourished, and kept name tagged at all times. Many relatives, friends and acquaintances are now the proud owners of flowers she gave away freely if she had spares to give.

The holidays were her favorite time of the year and her decorations were many. Her Christmas tree was always the most beautiful around and it sometimes took weeks to finish before she would feel satisfied with its beauty.

She cherished and loved her family and friends deeply and strived to live her life to its fullest. Her and her husband enjoyed a never-ending and growing love that they nourished each and every day of their 26 years of marriage. They felt blessed to reconnect at a Lake Worth High School reunion, fall in love, and realize there was no end to that growing love. To say she will be missed is an understatement. The good thing of her passing is that she has accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and rests in His hands for eternity. No more pain, no more sorrow. She is now home with Him and with her family and friends forever to live in joy and peace.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Clint Dewayne Narmore as well as a son, Doug Chadwick and wife, Linda; two grandchildren, Amber Chadwick of Ft Worth and Zachery Chadwick of Lake Worth; in addition, a brother, Eddie Knight and wife, Nickie of Burleson, Texas; sister, Donna Sprinkle and husband, Tommy of Crockett, Texas; sister-in-law, Tana Wharton of Lake Worth; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Amos Knight and her mother, Leona Self Knight.
