With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William "Bill" S. Paxton, Jr., who peacefully departed this life in his sleep on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the age of 80.

Bill honorably served in the U.S. Air Force and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Throughout his distinguished career in the technology sector, he was recognized as a positive and respected leader. Bill retired as the Vice President of North American Operations at Radio Shack Corporation.

Bill was preceded in death by his loving parents, Sloan and Geneva Paxton; he leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as a beloved husband to Susan; a devoted father to Meg and Tres; an adored father-in-law to Betsy; and a doting grandfather to Austin and Aila; he was also a cherished brother to Ann and her husband, Alden. His loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

A private service will be held to honor Bill's memory.

Memorial: In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army of Fort Worth in his name.
