William Wayne Glover, age 68, lovingly known as Wayne, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, January 3, 2026, surrounded by the love and care of his children.

Interment: 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery on where he and Jackie will rest together, reunited in peace.

Wayne was born on July 5, 1957, in Lafayette, Louisiana. At the age of 19, he joined the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country from 1976 to 1982. While stationed in Spain, he met the love of his life, Jackie, a meeting that would shape the rest of his life.

Following his military service, Wayne dedicated many years to the City of Fort Worth Water Department, where he was respected for his dependability and strong work ethic. He served for 28 years before retiring in 2016, allowing him to enjoy life alongside Jackie.

Wayne found joy in the things he loved most: road trips in his Corvette, cheering on the Texas Rangers, music, and rock concerts. He appreciated life's simple pleasures and spending those times with family and friends, but most of all with Jackie until her passing in 2023.

Wayne is survived by his children, daughter, Tara Glover and her daughter, Addisyn; son, Kenneth Glover and his wife, Shana, along with their children, Dallas and Summer; sister, Penny White and her husband, Billy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jackie, who welcomed him home with joy.

Wayne was a cherished father, brother, and friend. Now reunited with Jackie, their love lives on through the stories told, the lives they touched, and the family who carry them both in their hearts.
