William Wayne Kutej, 94, a longtime area resident, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Service:10 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017, in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the funeral home. Mr. Kutej was born in Decatur, and moved to the Fort Worth area, where he worked as a brick mason. He was involved in construction of many homes and commercial businesses. Survivors include his children, Linda Kutej, Deanna Nunn, Brenda Cloud, "Buz" Kutej, and Billy Kutej; brother, Alan Kutej; sister, Virginia Miller; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
