Service: 3:00 pm, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Lighthouse Fellowship, 7200 Robertson Rd, Fort Worth, Texas 76135 Interment: following service, Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, Texas 76107 William Jack "Billy" Smith, 48, of Hurst, TX passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the comfort of his home after an eight-month battle with cancer. Billy was born on September 22, 1972 to William Smith and Janelle Bullard. Being a third generation plumber, after graduating high school, Billy continued working as a plumber and eventually started his own company. BSI Plumbing started out as a one-man company and through the years it grew into something he was extremely proud of. He took pride in his family, work, company, and employees because to him they were family. Anyone who knew Billy could see what type of person he was, caring, generous, outgoing, goofy, selfless, loved to make others laugh and always willing to help those who needed it. Throughout the years, he made many personal sacrifices for others. He did not do it for the thanks, he was just compelled to take care of others and help them succeed. Billy was a proud father of five children, Kailee, Quade, Gavin, Ashlee, and Hollan. He really was one of those guys who could do it all! If he did not know how to do something or found a new hobby, he went all in! He has done everything from being plumber, electrician, carpenter, framer, sheet rocker, landscaper, car restorer, and welder. He enjoyed fishing, golf, dove hunting with his family and dogs. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and kids whether that was coaching little league baseball, getting knee deep in airsoft, going to sporting everts, bowling, movies, snowboarding, or going overboard decorating for all the holidays.
