William "Wild Bill" H. Harrell Jr., age 90, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Wild Bill was born January 19, 1935, in Cisco, Texas to William H. Harrell Sr. and Eunice Russell Harrell.

William was raised in Fort Worth and graduated from Trimble Tech High School where he studied electronic classes to repair and restore technology devices.  In 1953, he met his wife, Peggy Joyce Langston. They were married on January 10, 1954, and eventually had three children, Bill "B3" Harrell, Joyce Harrell, and Shelly Sanders.

William and Peggy relocated to Vernon, Texas in 1960, William's job at the time was working on the Minuteman ballistic missile better known as (ICBM).   In 1962, the Harrell family relocated to Seattle, Washington during the World's Fair where he attended Boeing's Electronic School.  The family then relocated to Chalmette, Louisiana in 1963 to work on the Saturn 5 Boosters for Chrysler and NASA.

In 1968, the Harrell family relocated back to Fort Worth, Texas to work at General Dynamics on the F-111 Aardvark Fighter jet.  In 1972, William bought a Mobil dealer Franchise (Service Station) along with Wild Bill's Wrecker Service and Wild Bill's used cars.  William "retired" in 1987.  In his spare time, William enjoyed hanging out at the Whataburger in Benbrook, Texas, and attending auctions of all varieties.

William "Wild Bill" Harrell was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Harrell Sr. and Eunice Russell Harrell; his wife, Peggy Harrell and grandson, William Jacob Tyler Harrell.

He is survived by their son, William (B3) and wife, Karen Harrell; daughters, Joyce Harrell, Shelly and husband, Micheal Sanders; grandsons, Chris Harrell and Andrew Sanders; granddaughters, Aimee Yount and Destiny Harrell; eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
