Willie David Scoggins, age 77, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, June 17, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: New Hope Cemetery, following the service Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home. Willie David Scoggins was born September 11, 1944 in Demopolis, Alabama to William Crawford Scoggins and Doris Margaret (Harper) Scoggins. He was a self-employed construction worker. Willie was a country boy when it came to music. His favorite music was listening to Hank Williams and George Jones. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed going on cruise ships. Willie also was a good Christian man. He will be missed by his family and all those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Crawford and Margaret Scoggins, and his sisters, Doris Sullivan and Mary Smith. Willie is survived by his children, Tammie Huggins and Gary, Will Scoggins and Michelle, Cody Scoggins and Nicole and Dustin Lunsford; six grandchildren, Aaron Scoggins, Justin Baker, Krystal Simmons, Alyssa Scoggins, Jasmin Davis and Ryan David; three great-grandchildren, Kolt Simmons, Harper Baker and Raylee Simmons; and nephew, James Sullivan and Kim. Pallbearers will be, Donnie Hankins, Steve Sexton, James Sullivan, Chad Johnson, Daniel Johnson and Buck Coufal.
