Frankie Wyleen Berry Glenn

Wyleen, 97, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at her home in Azle, TX.

She was born June 25, 1928, in Dallas, TX, the youngest of three children born to Vernon Oglesby Berry and Birdie May Lockridge. She was the valedictorian of Arp High School when she graduated in 1947. In 1948, she married Sidney J. Glenn and moved to Fort Worth, TX where she was a loving "stay at home mom" of three kids. In 1963, the family moved to Azle and she developed a trade as a lithographer for Azle Printing and Office Supplies, The Azle News and Family Security Insurance until she retired. In retirement, she developed a new interest and loved to paint.

She was a faithful and loyal lady whose life was an example of integrity, humility and work ethic.  Wyleen was an active member of Grace Baptist Church since 1962 and an outstanding example of mother, wife and grandma and great-grandma.

Wyleen was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years in 2013, by parents, Vernon Berry in 1985, Birdie Giles in 1994, brother, Cleburn A. Berry in 1938, and Hermon W. Berry in 1983.

Those who continue to cherish her memory are her children, Janice Glenn Orr and husband, Kenneth of Azle, Terry Glenn of Allen, Vickie Glenn Mason and husband, Michael, of Cresson; grandchildren, Anissa DeAnn Orr and fiancé, Robert Smith, Christopher Orr and wife, Deana, Angela Mason Lee and husband, Lyndel, Michael Mason and wife, Janna, Ryan Glenn, Tiffany Glenn Bates and husband, David;  11 great-grandchildren, as well as her caretakers that became family, including Maury Ann Brown and Jane Banks.
