It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Wyvonne D. Shearin's passing. She peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving behind a rich legacy of love, family, and remarkable achievements.

Born in Okeene, Oklahoma, on September 10, 1928, Wyvonne was the youngest of six siblings. Her life story is one of enduring love and connection, beginning with her meeting her husband, Lee Shearin, during dance lessons in Oklahoma City. Their 61 years together were a testament to their devotion, a bond that continued to inspire those around them even after Lee's passing in 2011.

Wyvonne possessed a vibrant curiosity and a remarkable talent for connecting with others. Her passion for family history made her the go-to source for genealogical information, a role she embraced with enthusiasm and expertise. Her green thumb was equally impressive, transforming any garden into a flourishing paradise. She possessed a talent for nurturing life, both in her garden and within her family.

She is survived by her children, Susan Mundy and Stephen Shearin; her grandchildren, Zachary and Cameron Noel; and her six cherished great-grandchildren.

The impact she had on each of their lives is immeasurable, a testament to her unwavering love and support. She was not just a mother and grandmother, but a confidante, a mentor, a source of strength, and a beacon of warmth. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
