Zelma Iona Reeves, 93, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013, in Lake Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal will be at 1:15 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, 2630 West Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, or Metropolitan Baptist Church Mission Fund, 6051 Azle Ave., Lake Worth, Texas 76135. Mrs. Reeves was a member of Mansfield Chapter #876 O.E.S., Mansfield Ladies Auxiliary #8911, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Metropolitan Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin A. Reeves; her parents, Tom and Emma Wills; four brothers; four sisters; two sons-in-law; and a daughter-in-law. She is survived by her children, Robbie Rushing of Perrin, Sandra McVeigh of Lake Worth and Marlene Miller of Azle; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
