Zona Monzella Phillips, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 28, 2012. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Zona was born February 21, 1941, in Collin County to Judge and Orene Peel. She had lived for 48 years in Fort Worth, where she raised her two sons. She is survived by: Sons, David R. Phillips and wife, Dora, and Eugene M. Phillips; sister, Wenetta Peel; brothers, Dave Peel and Jerry Peel and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Celestina Blok and husband, Josh, Sandy Phillips and Joey Phillips; and three great-grandchildren.
