James was born March 27, 1975 to Mr. Randy and Donna Conner, and attended Castleberry High School, graduating in 1993.  James was a standout student and football player.  He was well admired by his coaches and peers for always giving his very best effort.  Upon graduating high school, James went to Stephen F. Austin State University to play football and study kinesiology.  Returning to Ft. Worth, he attended Texas Christian University.  James was a long-time Aerospace Engineer and worked for Lockheed Martin.

On March 31, 2018, James married the love of his life, Amber Morrison in Azle, Texas.  Together, they have two children.  He will be remembered as a proud and loving husband and father.  He enjoyed music, skiing, and hunting.  Never one to stay still, he enjoyed a great many things, but spending time with his family and friends was most important.  James never met a stranger, and could talk to anyone about anything.  His voice was large as life, passionate, a strong conviction, and honorable.  All that knew him loved him, and we will forever miss him.

He was preceded in death by his father Randy; his uncle, Lee Conner; grandmother, Ruby Burns, and grandparents Delores and Clayton Conner.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Amber;  son, Clayton; daughter, Ryann; his mother, Donna; brother, Joseph, and countless other family and friends.
