Deanna Ross, 62, passed away Wednesday, November 4th at her home in Fort Worth, TX.

A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th from 6-8 p.m. at Biggers Funeral Home (6100 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, TX).

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Eagle’s View (5440 W Bailey Boswell Rd, Fort Worth, TX), with a private gravesite service to follow. Bart Howell and Alan Six will officiate the ceremony.

Deanna was born in Durant, Oklahoma to Darwin and Annette Reagen. She was the second oldest of four children. She married Steve Ross July 20, 1979, and raised her two children, Matt and Niki Ross in Amarillo, TX. Her time was largely spent attending baseball games, cheerleading events and supporting her kids. She spent many years working in the granite business and retired from Adobe Wall Stoneworks in 2011, then moved to Fort Worth to be closer to her kids. Until she became Grandma Dee Dee to her grandkids, she proudly claimed her two grand-dogs. Her loves included Taco Villa, Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Coca Cola. She was the middle sister of the “Twisted Sisters” and was the coined “idea” girl of the family. Many memories are attributed to her creative mind. Her and Steve loved time spent with their Small Group, First Baptist Newark and Eagle’s View families. One of her greatest joys was becoming Grandma Dee Dee to her three grandkids and moving her parents to Fort Worth. She will be remembered by her giving spirit and her ability to teach anyone about the Lord without you even knowing you were being witnessed to. She didn’t have a judgmental bone in her body and put everyone else first. You immediately felt like you were a part of her family. She left a Deanna sized hole in a lot of hearts and was loved by many.

Deanna is survived by her parents, Darwin and Annette Reagen of Fort Worth; husband, Steve Ross; children, Matt and Megan Ross and their 3 children of Rockwall and Niki Ross of McKinney; siblings, Andy and her husband Ricky Orr of Amarillo, Missy Boykin of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; mother in-law, Joan Ross of Fort Worth; brother in law, Russell Ross and his wife Starla of Amarillo; sister in law, Susan Collier and her husband Garland; several nieces and nephews and so many friends and neighbors that she considered to be family. She is preceded in death by her brother Mike Reagen, her brother in law David Boykin, and father in law Brooks Ross.
