Don was a Cross Plains High School graduate in 1947. He married Lahoma Yovone White on August 16, 1950. They had one son, Donald David Ingram.

Don served in the Army for two years. He attended Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth for two years. He worked at General Dynamics and retired from Lockheed Martin in May of 1991.

Don was also a minister of the gospel. He pastored at Sunset Assembly of God in Sunset, Texas and then went on to become associate pastor at Broadview Assembly of God in Sansom Park, Texas.. Don loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved his church and church family at the Oasis Assembly of God church in Saginaw, Texas.

Don enjoyed working out at the YMCA on Boat Club Rd. as well as letting his toy poodle, Little Dumplin ride on his lap in his wheelchair. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Douglas and Michael.

 

Don is survived by a son, Donald David Ingram and wife, Kim of Euless, Texas; brothers, Daniel Ingram, Joel Ingram and Noel Ingram and wife, Sandra, all of Cross Plains; sisters, Estelle Woody and husband, Billy of Abilene, Texas, Sharon Pope and husband, Del and Marbra Thompson and Derron of Weatherford, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
